File Under: melodic punk, it's NOFX baby!

Here is why I always have liked NOFX, because they can put a silly song like "Straight Outta Massachusetts" about moving from Massachusetts as a child and "Fermented and Flailing" a still silly, but serious look at the economic crisis in the United States on the same record without flinching and make it sound logical that they would be side by side.

Basically you have five songs here that did not make the cut for their last album "Coaster", but these are not throwaways. After 25 years, NOFX knows how to right a great NOFX song (as opposed to the million of bands who copy them, but just can't cut the muster).

Fat Mike has lost both of his parents in the last couple of years and the song "My Orphan year" is an acoustic song that has some of the most personal lyrics ever from NOFX. It is very touching. As someone who also lost touch with his Dad before he died, I can definitely identify with this song.

If you like NOFX you will like this. Certainly the completist out there will have to have it. If you don't like NOFX, then I just don't understand you.

This is being released as both a CD and as a two 7 inches.

Bonus Material: Check out video clips from their Fuse show Backstage Passport.
