File Under:Non-Fiction, Some sort of mutated giant insects

Mantids creates a world of catastrophe of sorts where the majority of civilization is turned into sex starved Praying Mantis'. The protagonist of the book, a human named Chad, doesn't really seem to care or notice or care that Mantids are leering at him everywhere he goes. He ends up with an overdose of Viagra and ends up with a permanent erection (a great song title for a Vandals song if I ever heard one).

I know, it sound preposterous doesn't it? I will tell you when I first picked up this book I put it down after reading maybe five pages thinking I would never like it. But, I have a duty here at 410Media so I picked up the book again and started reading it. What happened was I was sucked into Ron Dakron's prose and the world he created. I read the rest of the book in one sitting because he had created a world I found interesting.

This is clearly a book better than the sum of it's parts. I do recommend that you check it out and get passed the first few pages. Let yourself get sucked into the tale Dakron is weaving.
