I often get people who email me and tell me that they have never seen a site like this.  Is it streaming radio? is it radio at all? Is it a literate book review site?  What the hell is going on here?!?

 Relax.  If the Internet is working right, it should be a leveller, all of a sudden diy content should have a level playing field with old mainstream media and we do sort of. 

 It is really easy to create something and let folks look at it online, but the problem is that it is hard to find.  I spend a ton of time trying to find music online.  searching the Internet, downloading podcast even going to the evil Ruppert Murdoch owned MySpace.  I hope for the music end of things we are a leveller. A one place you can go with a minimum of advertising and discover new music and art.

 We want to do the same thing with the books and music we review.  They are all independent or university press releases.  None of them are the major book publishers or record labels.  We hope to shine the light on cool stuff people are doing all over the world. 

As corny as it may sound, we want to inspire you to go out and create.  Then we want to be the place that shares your creation with the world.
